Refund policy
1. Overview
Rise Business Services (trading as Rise Services, "we", "us", "our") sells Google Ads automation scripts as digital downloads and, separately, a script installation service. Because these products are different in nature — one is digital content, the other is a professional service — different rules apply to each under UK consumer law.
This policy sets out your rights under:

the Consumer Rights Act 2015

the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
-
the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024
Nothing in this policy removes or limits your statutory rights under UK law. Where any clause conflicts with your legal rights, your legal rights take precedence.
2. Digital Scripts (Downloadable Products)
2.1 Cooling-off period and waiver
When you purchase a script, you have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, because our scripts are digital content delivered by immediate download, we ask you to waive this cancellation right at checkout so that access can be granted straight away.
By ticking the confirmation box at checkout, you confirm that:

you want immediate access to the digital content, and
-
you understand that by starting the download you waive your 14-day right to cancel.
If you do not tick the box, you can still purchase the script but delivery will be held until the 14-day period has passed.
2.2 Change of mind
Once a script has been downloaded and the waiver above has been given, we are not obliged to offer a refund if you simply change your mind. This is in line with the exemption for digital content under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
2.3 Faulty or not as described
If a script is faulty, does not work as described, or fails to meet satisfactory quality standards under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:

a repair or replacement - we will correct or re-issue the script within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, or
-
a full or partial refund - if a repair or replacement is not possible or fails, you can request a refund. Within 30 days of purchase this will normally be a full refund. After 30 days a proportionate deduction may apply.
To report a fault, contact us at info@riseservices.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
2.4 What we consider a fault
A script will be treated as faulty if it:

contains a syntax or runtime error that prevents it from executing in a standard Google Ads account

does not produce the output described on the product listing

was materially misdescribed at the point of sale
2.5 What is not covered
The following are not covered by our faulty product remedies:
-
issues caused by changes to your Google Ads account structure after purchase
-
issues caused by third-party apps, non-standard account configurations, or MCC-level restrictions outside our control
-
user error in following the installation instructions (where installation is not included in your purchase)
-
Google Ads platform changes made by Google after the date of purchase — we will endeavour to issue updates where reasonably practicable, but cannot guarantee this
3. Installation Service
3.1 Nature of the service
The installation service is a professional service contract, not a digital product. Different rules apply.
3.2 Cooling-off period
You have a 14-day right to cancel the installation service from the date of purchase. You can waive this right if you want the call to be booked and carried out within that 14-day window.
If you cancel before the call has taken place, you are entitled to a full refund of the installation fee.
If you cancel after the call has been completed, no refund is due for the installation service as the service has been fully delivered.
3.3 Service not carried out as agreed
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if we fail to carry out the installation with reasonable care and skill, or the result does not match what was agreed, you are entitled to:

ask us to repeat the service or put it right at no additional cost, or
-
a partial or full refund if putting it right is not possible or not done within a reasonable time.
3.4 Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your installation call, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. We will accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests at no charge. Repeated no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the installation fee being forfeited.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or raise a complaint, contact us by email at info@riseservices.co.uk. Please include:

your full name and email address used at checkout

your order number

a description of the problem, including any error messages or screenshots where relevant
We aim to acknowledge all refund requests within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 days. If we agree a refund is due, it will be returned to your original payment method within 10 working days.
5. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. We will provide details of the relevant scheme upon request.
You also have the right to use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform provided by the UK Government, and to take your case to the courts. Your statutory right to take legal action is not affected by this policy.
6. Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These rights cannot be taken away by any term in this policy.
